Hi All and welcome back for updates.
The water filter is almost complete and the work on Damit swim is nearing completion. A new boat has arrived at the lakes and Jared has been cutting back the overhangs on the far margins. He has also removed a number of large rocks which the fish were obviously using to snag lines on when hooked.
While I was over the lakes recently, Jared banked a brace of fish which I will be posting on the gallery soon, after about 2 hours fishing. The birco has been working overtime as He has been boiling up large portions of maize which the fish have been wolfing down, along with the pellet he normally keeps them fed on. We anticipate that a predicted time of next season for opening is now a reality after what seems an eternity of work and financial layout....along with the obstacle of french bureaucracy. Still, we believe the wait will have been worth it and look forward to next season with excitement.
Further updates and gallery postings will be appearing as friends and previous guests will be fishing prior to next season.
I will end this posting without dwelling on the woeful display of the England team.......enough said.
